Westside Racing was  started in year 2000 by Arvid Grødem and fellow dragracing
friends following the acquisition of Mikael Kågered’s Ford Mustang Top Methanol Funny Car.
This car was sold in 2009 and another Ford Mustang was then purchased from the US. 
The team is located in Norway in Vestfold county approx. 1,5hrs drive southwest of Oslo.
